Why we built it:
You (and your accountant) wanted to reconcile your Max Retail orders at your convenience.
How it works:
In your Settings, you can generate reports by a specific date range or select a prior month and it will be emailed to you!

Faster reconciling. Cleaner books. Happier accountants.
Error Reports click to view
Why We Built It
Max Retail creates enhanced listings on your behalf, but sometimes we don’t have enough information on the item to successfully list it. You wanted an easier way to know when product information was missing and provide it!
How It Works:
Now you can see which listings are in an “Errored” status right in your Seller Dashboard, then easily upload missing images and correct missing information so that we can successfully list these items for you. Check it out HERE.
Impact:
Sellers can quickly resolve errors in Max Retail and get more of their unsold inventory successfully listed — and sold!
Vacation Mode click to view
Why we built it:
Sometimes you leave town, have a big warehouse sale, or need to do an inventory check. While we never want our sellers to lose out on sales, requiring you to send an email to our team when you knew you needed to pause temporarily wasn’t great.
How it works:
Set your account on Vacation Mode when necessary, all on your own. Select a start and end date. Your inventory will be removed from sales channels on the start date, and automatically reinstated on the end date! You can also request another staff member to be trained so that you never have to use this feature (or miss out on sales) again.
Impact:
Ease of use and peace of mind.
Monthly Performance Report
Why we built it:
You asked for clearer visibility into how your business is performing on Max Retail.
How it works:
Each month, we send a Performance Report that compares your current results to the prior month. It highlights how your inventory is moving, key sales and payout metrics, listing activity, and fulfillment performance.
Impact:
You gain a clear month-over-month view of performance to take quick action both in-store and on Max Retail.
Matchmaker Emails
Why we built it:
You told us you didn’t know what to list when time was limited. You wanted to know what was selling fast so that you focus on listing the unsold inventory that would quickly convert to cash.
How it works:
Matchmaker is a customized email, specifically for YOU, based on what you’ve previously listed on Max Retail that highlights fast-selling brands you already carry, high-performing categories, and upcoming promotions across our sales channels.
Impact:
Clear direction on what to list now, higher sell-through, faster sales.
Aged Inventory Report (Shopify Sellers)
Why we built it:
Shopify doesn’t make it easy to see aged inventory, and you told us you wanted better visibility into which items have been sitting in your store for a while.
How it works:
We send a simple, personalized report highlighting aged inventory (90+ days in your store) that isn’t tagged for Max Retail yet. The report flags priority brands and links directly to product pages, making it easy to identify what to list, easily tag and sell.
Impact:
Clear visibility into what’s been in-store too long, less guesswork on what to list on Max Retail.
Shopify Order Forwarding (Top Fulfillment Sellers)
Why we built it:
High-performing sellers wanted Max Retail orders to flow directly into Shopify so they could fulfill them alongside their other online sales.
How it works:
For sellers with a 98%+ approval rating, Max Retail orders flow automatically into Shopify. When an order comes through, it appears just like any other Shopify order, with a link to access the Max Retail packing slip and shipping label for easy printing and fulfillment.
Payout details are visible in Shopify for transparency, and payouts are sent directly to your bank via Stripe once the label is scanned. Inventory quantities update automatically, just like your regular Shopify sales!
Impact:
One place to manage orders, inventory, and fulfillment—no extra systems to learn.
Square Integration
Why we built it:
Many of you run your business on Square and wanted an easier way to list inventory directly from your Point of Sale while keeping inventory in sync when items sell in-store.
How it works:
Now you can tag your unsold inventory in Square for sale on Max Retail. In-store sales remove items automatically from our platform. When an item sells on Max Retail, you can reconcile it in Square using your existing workflow.
Impact:
Easy and fast listing, accurate inventory and fewer oversells.
Price Drops click to view
Why we built it:
You wanted to sell even more on Max Retail. While some items fly, others just need a nudge. Price Drops bring aged listings back to life by boosting visibility, alerting interested shoppers, and driving faster sell-through.
How it works:
As inventory sits on Max Retail, automated Price Drops are applied based on the discount strategy you choose. Each drop pushes the item back into high-visibility placements across our marketplaces, putting it back in front of ready-to-buy shoppers and driving more sales!
Impact:
Higher sell-through on your aged listings, more cashflow and floorspace to bring in new shipments.
B2B Marketplace Improvements
Why we built it:
Retailers needed a faster and easier way to source inventory from other retailers for fill-ins, size runs, and special orders.
How it works:
Retailers can shop for the inventory they need with enhanced search and filters, deeper category structure, and size-run buying tools that make ordering fast and simple.
Impact:
Faster sourcing of the products you need, while helping other retailers move inventory that is a better fit for another store.
Lightspeed R-Series Stability
Why we built it:
Reliability matters more than anything to our sellers and you wanted your inventory to be accurate on Max Retail when connected through our Lightspeed R Series integration.
How it works:
Inventory now syncs every hour from your Lightspeed Point of Sale to your Max Retail account!
Impact:
Higher order approval ratings and more peace of mind for Lightspeed sellers.
