How? Well, we’ve increased our number of sales channel partners and advanced our technology to enhance your product data more. This helps your inventory to be discovered with greater ease and gives end-consumers more product information so that they want to buy it!
Here’s a peek into that process:
Back in January 2023, the average time between sales across all sellers was 19 days. We knew we could do better than that and we have! Fast forward to January 2024, and boom – it’s down to an average of 8 days between sales across all sellers. We’re doubling down on this in 2024 to keep the momentum rolling.
But wait, there’s more!
We’re not just selling more often; we’re also selling your older inventory better than ever.
Did you know that 34% of inventory sold each month is super old inventory that has been on Max Retail for longer than 3 months? That means it has likely been in your store for 6-9 months! Although our goal is to sell your inventory as fast as humanly possible, even when it doesn’t sell fast, we never stop trying for you! We enroll your inventory in promotions and email drops with our sales channels to increase its exposure. We launch new channels in new geographies like Canada and Latin America to get your past season merchandise in front of people where the weather is more relevant.
